When Elain was put into the couldron, she was wearing her iron engagement ring. The couldron giften her powers of its own accord, but anything that goes into the couldron is automatically Made and kinda becomes a trove, which means the ring must have some abilities too.

I think since the ring was mentioned multiple times when describing Elain, it might be used as a plot device. From what I would assume, Elain still keeps it somewhere.
