I got this underchassis repair quotation after the mechanics dismantle my car. Unit is 2017 Wigo
So I had my PMS done for my 2017 wigo and they found problems with my oxygen sensor and shock absorbers. They gave me a quotation but I passed since I thought it was overpriced. Got a second opinion but they all pointed out to the same problem (O2 sensor). I then looked up for the parts online and cross referenced with the quote they gave me and I found that the price were tripled or quadrupled. However, i'm clueless about car parts so I home serviced my car with a mechanic I met in an online fb group. At first, I thought he was being honest since the problem with my 02 sensor disappeared right away after they rebooted it with their scanner and told me na madumi lang at no need nang ireplace. That reassured me since kung dishonest siya he wouldn't fix it but just offer me an overpriced replacement parts. However, things suddenly took a quick turn and within 10 minutes my front wheels were dismantled. He told me that there were many parts that need replacement already. To be fair, nakita ko naman nga na worn out na yung parts. He then gave me a quotation (refer to attached pic). I was shocked since halos kasing mahal nung shops na unang kong pinuntahan at nireject ko kasi nga mahal. Akala ko pa naman makakamura ako pero wala na ako nagawa kasi nabaklas na nila. Nasabi ko na lang na I trusted them na honest sila and had me reassured na mawawala ang tagtag after servicing. It took them 5 hours to fix and replace the worn out parts. Nag road test kami and nawala naman ang tagtag but the check engine reappeared again. After they left, I checked the items online and found out the they were overpriced :/
