I work for a small design business that’s run by two women and I’m the only employee they have. I’ve noticed that they take most of their meetings, phonecall or zoom, in their car instead of staying in the open plan studio space where I am. It makes me feel weird and like they don’t trust me and that I’m not part of their team. They never mention it or add a disclaimer or acknowledgement, they just tell me they have a quick meeting and they’ll be back soon. But they take a laptop and go and sit in their car. Is this odd? I don’t have a role where their meetings would be a disruption to the work I’m doing. Not sure how to bring it up with them!

What could I say to them about this without sounding needy?
