Happy Birthday Big man

Happy Birthday Big man

Thanks for all the Karbonn Kamal catches, final over clutches, golden arm bowling and winning games out of nowhere. We will cherish you forever!

I believe some people might disagree with what I say. The fact that Rohit made us “monsters” was undeniable. I still remember the days from 2008-2012, when we had the trophy drought and losing in knockouts. From that situation to beating all teams and our arch rivals was always so special. But as time progresses, we must all think about the age factor, and management has done something which we didn’t like, but we need to move on from there. As someone who’s loving MI since the inaugural season, I support management’s decision (obviously the trade had gone bad, but no one expected it to go this way). Lately, after every other match, I see edits of how good of a captain Rohit was. Yes, we all know he is the GOAT, but we need to support our current captain and team, and back them when they are at the lowest. Like every one of us, players too feel bad about losing; in fact, we haven’t found a proper 11 after 8 matches. This is a strong lesson for management too, for banking on veterans, unlike our prime team which supported youngsters. All I want to say is, we will have good days soon - if not this season, next we would and will. As Polly says, “Stop writing off these kind of guys, okay? Been there, done it before, and we will continue to do it no matter what is said.”
