I'm looking to get my first cowboy hat in a couple months hopefully. I'm more budget oriented right now and will probably dip into nicer options if I like it. I'm a pretty average build and height guy who usually wears a Carhartt dad-hat or on occasion my boonie hat when I'm out doing anything from simple grocerie shopping to cutting the field with my tractor. All that to say I want a nice kind of do-it-all cowboy hat that I can easily throw on year-round.

I generally wear square toe ariat cowboy boots, jeans, and a t-shirt. I think stylisitcally black or a dark brown would probably look best with my general attire. I'm fond of the classic teardrop style crown or maybe more of a flat top gambler, I have more of a wider face so I'm not sure which would look better. My price range is around $100, I know that doesn't buy me a good quality hat, but if it's being used for work like I intend it to, I already expect it to eventually get deformed over time. Any specific brands/models to point my in the right direction would be a huge help!
