Nintendo Switch PicoFly Hard Mod v1 or v2 Micro SD Card Software Install
Goto-> https://switch.hacks.guide/user_guide/getting_started
Once NH Switch Guide is open Goto-> Introduction to Modchips.
Scroll down page to the blue box with white text saying -> Continue to Preparing Hekate ->
Select the ->Continue to Preparing Hekate.
Your page should now display Payload an bootloader folder placement.
Scroll down page to the ->Section I - Requirements -> Select the highlighted latest release of Hekate
Your page should now display Hekate - IPL Custom NX Bootloader from the Git Hub website.
Scroll down page to the ->Download Assets -> Select -> hekate_ctcaer_6.5.2_Nyx_1.9.2.zip (please note the version numbers 6.5.2 & 1.9.2 may change due to updates therefore always download the latest version number zip file type).
Once hekate_ctcaer_6.5.2_Nyx_1.9.2.zip is downloaded -> Create a new folder on your pc and name it N Switch Mod Software.
Goto->PC Downloads folder->Select and move the->hekate_ctcaer_6.5.2_Nyx_1.9.2.zip folder to your new N Switch Mod Software folder.
Unzip the-> hekate_ctcaer_6.5.2_Nyx_1.9.2.zip folder-> Once unzipped you can now delete the original->hekate_ctcaer_6.5.2_Nyx_1.9.2.zip folder.
Goto->N Switch Mod Software folder->You should now see x1 folder & x1 file (bootloader & hekate_ctcaer_6.5.1.bin)->Select & right click the->hekate_ctcaer_6.5.1.bin file & rename this file payload.bin
Read Before Continuing:
When buying a SD card, ensure it meets these Switch specifications:
Format: microSDXC (for 64GB and above).
Speed Class: UHS-I with a minimum read speed of 60–95 MB/s.
*Avoid buying high-capacity cards that seem unusually cheap, as they are likely fake*
Micro Sd card options:
Option 1. If you are going to use or replace the Micro SD Card that is currently being used in your switch->Remove the SD Card from your switch and copy all the files and folders from the SD Card to a new folder on your PC called N Switch Files->Once the files and folders have copied from your SD Card to the N Switch Files folder->Move the N Switch Files folder into-> the N Switch Mod Software folder.
Option 2. If you are using a new Micro SD Card continue to step #13.
- Format the Micro SD Card & Choose the File System:
(I) FAT32: Highly recommended for stability and homebrewing, though it has a 4GB individual file size limit.
(2) exFAT: Better for large digital game files above 4GB, but can occasionally lead to corruption if the console isn't powered down correctly.
Goto->N Switch Mod Software folder->Select and copy the file->payload.bin & folder->bootloader->to the formatted Micro SD Card.
Put the formatted Micro SD Card with the payload.bin file & bootloader folder into the switch-> Power Switch On.
Switch should boot into Hekate->Enter date and time->Select->Done.
Goto->Tools->Select->Partition SD Card->Select->OK->Select and move the emuMMC (RAW): slider until it displays FULL. (most switch consoles will display 29GB).
Read Before Continuing
* If you want to install Linux or Android onto the switch at a later date move the sliders to the min requirement of 16GB for Linux or android.
Note *Steps 18-20 is the back up procedure so the switch can be restored if any corrupt files or issues occur. The Switch restore function (Tools Menu Restore eMMC)
Select->Next Step->Select->Start->Press->Power Button.
Goto->Tools->Select->Backup eMMC->Select->eMMC BOOTT0 & BOOT1->Once complete Est 0-5min ->Select->Close.
Select->eMMC RAW CPP->Once Complete Est 10-50min->Select->Close->Select->Home
From Home screen->Select->emuMMC->Select->Create emuMMC->Select->SD Partition->Select->Part 1->Once Complete Est 10-50min->Select->Close.
Connect switch to Pc with usb c type cable->Goto->The Switch Tools Menu->Select->USB Tools->Select->SD Card->The Switch should now display->USB Mass Storage.
Goto->PC->Select->This PC in the windows explorer->Select & Open->SWITCH SD drive (?)->locate the backup folder from the Switch SD drive (?)->Select & copy the backup folder to the->N Switch Mod Software folder est 20-60min.
Goto->https://sthetix.info/hats/releases/ ->Select->HATS-2026-04-21-a195c24->Select->Download->(please note the version numbers a195c24 may change due to updates therefore always download the latest version number by date).
Goto->PC Downloads folder->Select and move the->HATS-2026-04-21-a195c24.zip folder to your new N Switch Mod Software folder.
Unzip the->HATS-2026-04-21-a195c24.zip folder-> Once unzipped you can now delete the original->.zip HATS-2026-04-21-a195c24.zip folder.
Goto->N Switch Mod Software folder->Locate and open HATS folder-> x8 folders & 7 files should be displayed

Your page should now display->ftpd pro v3.2.1 from the Git Hub website->Scroll down page->Select & Download->ftpd-classic.nro

33.Your page should now display->HB App Store 2.3.2 from the Git Hub website->Scroll down page->Select & Download->appstore.nro
Goto->PC Downloads folder->Select and move the->ftpd-classic.nro , NX-Shell.nro & Appstore.nro files to the Switch folder located in the N Switch Mod Software folder > Hats > Switch
Goto->N Switch Mod Software folder->Locate and open HATS folder->select all 8 folders & 7 files copy all files & folders to the->new modded Nintendo Switch Micro SD Card
ie.SWITCH SD drive (?)->If prompted the destination has # files with the same names->Select->Replace the files in the destination est 0-10min
- Power on the Nintendo Switch->The Switch should display the Hekate bootloader menu->Select->launch->The Switch should display 4 boxes SYSMC OFW (Uses Nintendo's official nan chips which tracks what software is being used 100% original Nintendo) SYSMMC SEMI-STOCK (50%- 50% lets you by pass a few things like fuse checks when firmware is upgraded tracks what firmware version etc) SYSMC CFW (Allows some homebrew applications to run and stops the Nintendo server connections) EMUMMC CFW (Fully Blocked Connection to all Nintendo systems. Recommended for backing up all your official game cartridges to the Micro SD Card).
Upload the previously saved Micro SD Card (N Switch Files) from PC to the new modded Nintendo Switch Micro SD Card
Goto Nintendo Switch->Select->SYSMMC SEMI-STOCK->Select->A Start->Press Same Button Three Times->Wait 30sec & Power down Nintendo Switch->Remove new moded Nintendo Switch Micro SD Card ie.(SwitchSD (?) from the Nintendo Switch->Connect the new modded Nintendo Switch Micro SD Card ie.(SwitchSD (?) to the PC.
Goto->PC>N Switch Mod Software>N Switch Files->Select all the files and folders & copy to the new modded Nintendo Switch Micro SD Card ie.(SwitchSD (?) est 0-5min.
Note* If you want to plav these saved downloaded games from the emuMMC on your Nintendo switch->Goto PC->N Switch Mod Software>N Switch Files>Select & Copy Nintendo folder to->new moded Nintendo Switch Micro SD Card ie.(SwitchSD (?)to>emuMMC>RAW1>Nintendo
Insert the new moded Micro SD Card ie.(SwitchSD (?) into the Nintendo Switch
Power On->Select->launch->Select->SYSMMC-> all done enjoy !
In the SYSMMC any new game updates wont download but you can still paly the game by selecting Start Software.
To go to the custom firmware homebrew menu select the album icon on the home page.
