We are excited to host Johan Söderlund, founder of Gråbrodern a new Swedish denim brand at Ford General in Chicago. We will be hosting a Trunk Show and Meet and Greet on May 1st & 2nd at our 2 locations.
Johan Söderlund has worked in denim professionally for decades, first as a global product manager heading up the Levi's vintage team in Europe until 2001. Then he was tapped by Edwin to become the Designer and Creative Director for their Europe division, which he essentially started from scratch. In 2009 he co-founded Indigofera and acted as a creator/designer there.
His newest venture is called Gråbrodern (pronounced gro-bro-dern). This brand is based out of the Swedish island of Gotland in the middle of the Baltic sea and is an encapsulation of all that he's learned through his time in the denim world. It's still in its early days but you can get a sneak peak at Ford General in Chicago on May 1st and 2nd. We'll also be showcasing some boots from Unmarked.
