Hello everyone. For a while now, I've had a check engine light in my car. The code it's throwing is P0012, Camshaft timing over-retarded (bank 1). Essentially, the ECU is expecting one reading from the camshaft position sensor, and the sensor is sending a different one. The car does not drive any different. No rough idle, no hiccups, no change in power, no change in gas mileage. I've already replaced the VVT solenoid with a high-quality aftermarket part, but this did not solve the problem. I know that this is not a common issue with these engines, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
