Hi all, I wanted to replace the engine mounts on my 3g when I unfortunately stripped two bolts.
The first (front mount) has one of the 3 bolts going into the engine block threaded, and the second (transmission side) had the same thing happen to it (that being the bolt connecting to the block).
Seeing the way things were going, I decided to cut my losses and stop at just the two mounts. The ones that I changed seemed to be in okay condition, so I figured the other two would be fine.
I managed to torque the rest of the bolts to spec, however I believe the bolts that stripped did so on their way out as I was unable to tighten them. They are currently hanging in there loosely as there are no threads to grab onto.
TLDR, I am essentially asking if it is safe to drive in its current state, or if it requires urgent attention to tap the hole. The silver lining is that they are in a fairly accessable spot tool-wise, however it would require me to pull quite a few things before doing the job.
