I had VR28 Black Iridium lenses in a Rx, and loved them as an all-around, all-day, any day lens. Shadows could be seen and contrast was good in a huge range of everyday conditions; they always just worked. I am in an area which is predominantly overcast or cloudy, with lots of rolling terrain, tall flora, and what-not, casting shadows.
I have a pair of PRIZM Trail and a pair of PRIZM Road Black. The Trails' work great except under bright light, then the lighter tinting shows and I'd like them a little darker. They are my go-to lens between the two tints. The PRIZM Road Black seem to solely work well on the brightest of days and at the cost of washing shadows out for me.
Anyone have equal experience with the VR28 Black Iridium and a similar PRIZM replacement?
