I just replaced the bearings that came with my wheels mfg BB with Enduro XD-15 6806 bearings. I don't really care about the unloaded spin test, but I guess I was expecting the cranks to spin a bit more freely. This is the first time I've ever replaced just the bearings and only the second time installing a BB, so I'm just nervous that I did something wrong. Does this look ok to you guys?

They spun more freely before I tightened down the preload, but then it had some side to side play...not visible but if I banged the crankset left or right with the palm of my hand, it would bind up and not soon smoothly at all. I didn't set the preload ring very tight at all. As it is now, they spin smoothly, they just don't spin for very long.
