Hi all. New to the group. My son is 14 and he is diagnosed with ADHD. His stimming is a lot. We homeschool so he is not medicated, but I read that leucovorin might help control it. He will jump up off the couch and start pacing while humming instead of talking. When I tell him to “use his words”, he will say “ok mom” and go back to what he was doing. Kinda like he’s in a trance or something. He is smart as a whip, very sociable and loving (he’s a hugger/kisser) and he isn’t violent and has no rage in him. It’s just the stimming that could be a problem for him down the line as an adult so I’m trying to figure it out. Anyone have any experience with this? Does another med help with stimming? Any advice is appreciated!
