For two people, overnight flight from Maui to the mainland. I think it’s lower than most upgrade prices I’ve seen in PE but wanted to see what the internet thinks!

Went out for fishing at a lake in North Texas and found this rock on the bank. It looks like a rod or bone that is surrounded by this crystalline/limestone rock, but I’m suspicious since there haven’t been many vertebrate fossils found here. When I hit the suspected fossil, it has a metallic “ting” sound, whereas the surrounding rock is more of a thud. Any thoughts as to what this might be?
