I am at a position in my company where the ventures arm of the company invites me time to time to evaluate startups for investments. I don’t work in ventures and its not part of my job description however it does overlap with M&A due diligence responsibilities as well.

I am getting conflicting answers on whether this counts for judging or not. Help!
