Hi there,
I’ve encountered an issue where posts appear to save and publish successfully on my end, but are not actually visible to others.
This has happened multiple times now, usually only becoming apparent when colleagues later tell me they can’t see my responses.
Most recently, I posted a reply on Friday in this thread. The comment initially appeared normally for me, but my colleagues could not see it, and I can no longer see it in the thread either. I kept a record as I was worried and sure enough the issue recurred.
Just wanted to flag this in case there’s a posting or account issue affecting visibility. Can you please help?

Hey there! I’m from the FoodMarble team and wanted to jump in in case I can help.
Firstly, we're really glad to hear the elemental diet has gone so well for you and that you’re currently symptom-free.
What you’re seeing with the readings can definitely feel confusing, but there are a few important things to keep in mind.
The post-meal spike you saw can actually be completely expected and quite normal. FoodMarble measures fermentation in real time, so readings taken after dinner are often higher because your gut is actively breaking down food, especially if you’ve eaten fermentable carbohydrates (FODMAPs) throughout the day.
One important thing to know is that FODMAP intake is cumulative. Different fermentable foods consumed across breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner can “stack,” so many people see their highest fermentation levels later in the day. It’s also very possible to see higher fermentation levels while feeling completely fine symptom-wise.
It’s also worth noting that a diagnostic breath test like Trio-Smart works very differently from the AIRE 2 device. Clinical tests use a standardised lactulose challenge after fasting in order to isolate bacterial activity under controlled conditions.
Day-to-day tracking of your digestive response to real foods is not designed to replicate or replace a clinical SIBO test. They’re two very different types of breath testing and each serves a different purpose.
Because of that, isolated high readings without symptoms do not necessarily indicate a relapse or problem. Symptoms, patterns over time, and context around meals are all important pieces of the picture. With 0 symptoms and good post-treatment progress, there’s every reason to feel encouraged rather than alarmed.
We have a help article explaining more about high evening results, gastric transit and FODMAP stacking, plus a SIBO monitoring guide that many users find helpful.
And if you’d ever like help interpreting trends or getting the most out of the device during reintroduction, feel free to reach out to our support team at hello@foodmarble.com. We're always happy to help.
