So I have a cat tree restoration business that takes in trees, fixes them, cleans them, then gives them back. I have to track time for each stage of the job to be able to bid orders and not lose money in labor. So we started with just a white board and manually input the information in our crm. This works fine but I wanted something a bit more robust with analytics so I made a little web application that I can track time with. Basically I just open the app on my phone, select the project and start and stop time while the app does the rest. It also will generate a link for your customers to view the progress on their project (like a Dominos pizza tracker). That helps with the “whens it gonna be done” texts. I was curious if this would help anyone else so I made it into an “app” with a friend that's totally free, its benchmove.com if you want to check it out.
