Monitor makes loud, awful noise under somewhat specific circumstances

Video attached.

Model Aorus FO48U

The only times this ever happens is during the Google TV boot up screen. It started a long time ago and ended up blowing the speakers out a bit, and I just worked around it by plugging the Google TV into a separate power source and turning it on before I turn the TV on. If I don't do this and, say, try to turn off the monitor when a pixel refresh is due, the monitor will continue to make the noise all through the pixel refresh until it's finished even though it usually wouldn't play audio during the pixel refresh.

There was one other occasion where it made the noise when I powered on a connected retrotink.

I finally showed my friends what was happening and the responses included things like: potential bad cap, potentially arc, potential fire risk.

I'm interested in everyone else's thoughts. I'd love to just work around the issue and not open this thing up for repair, but if it's a fire risk then I have to do what I have to do. I just don't see any chassis screws on this thing and I can't find any teardown guides on it.

My built in tv speakers, which were pretty much fine for me 90% of the time, starting doing this cute thing where they make loud awful noises sometimes. I've been working around it for awhile but I'm at a point now where I just want to stick an AUX cable into it and have a smooth experience.

I live in a small apartment with thin walls. If I want a really high quality audio experience, I just plug in headphones so I don't bother the neighbors. The only thing I want on top of that is some decent enough speakers mounted behind my couch for when audio doesn't matter as much to me or when I'm watching something with others.

I don't want any "smart" features and I don't need Bluetooth. I'm not sure a subwoofer is even a great idea, but I'm not against it if there's a way to turn the bass down. I'm not entirely against getting a receiver, but I'm not doing a surround set up so I'm not sure it's necessary. It would certainly be nice saving the storage space.

What would people recommend for my use case? I'm trying to keep an open mind and I'm not totally familiar with what the audio market looks like right now. My budget is pretty flexible though I'm hoping that what I'm asking for is little enough to expect a modest price.

I live in a small apartment with thin walls. I don't watch a lot of shows on my TV, and when I do I either wear high quality headphones or a cheap Bluetooth speaker and thats mostly fine by me.

Due to reasons not really worth explaining, I think I want to get a sound bar or some kind of speaker set up. Seeing as I prefer headphones when I want quality audio, I'm leaning towards sound bar for simplicity's sake.

I don't need Bluetooth; I want to plug an AUX cable in and leave it in. I actively dislike smart features. I'm willing to spend a little more for quality audio, though I'm hoping I can save some money by foregoing the extra frills.

Last thing of note; i plan on mounting behind my seating if that matters at all.

Where would you all suggest I begin looking? Or is there maybe another option that I'm overlooking that would be better for my use case than a sound bar?
