LF Career Advice (new lawyer, regulatory background)
Hi - I am looking for any career advice or tips that more experienced attorneys might be willing to share.
I graduated from a non ABA law school last December and just passed the bar and became licensed in my state. I have worked in a regulatory compliance / investigative role for the federal government for several years and prior to that worked as an auditor. I also have previous experience working in HR.
What type of law would be the best fit for someone who is looking for remote work / something that makes a positive difference / intellectually challenging / good for an introvert who enjoys researching?
I am leaning toward employment or administrative law (perhaps related to Fraud/Waste/Abuse internal investigations) but am not sure if that is a good fit. Are there any other areas that I should consider?
Thanks for your time!
