And it’s affecting my credit. I stayed in the complex during 2020-2021, and finished out my lease. Fast forward to 2025 and i’m doing a credit check. I noticed that it appeared on my credit and I have tried multiple times to dispute it, but I’m always denied.

I’ve gone to the actual office and asked for documentation of my charges, they said they could not do it because they had no paperwork of me before they taken over by new management. When I asked if I could get something in writing saying it was an error, they refused saying they weren’t legally responsible.

I’ve searched through my own personal emails, but I no longer have access to the same one I had 6 years ago. So I’m wondering how I should go about things from this point.
