I have a crack in the lacquer on top of the carbon fibre crown of my driver, it’s not near the face. I am aware this will likely get worse and eventually cause performance issues. My question is, right now, there is no sound difference, no movement when applying pressure to the crack. Will it affect performance now or just be a weak point that may eventually cause the club to fail.
