I built an invoicing app made specifically for Luxembourg: looking for feedback on e-invoicing
Hello all,
I'm a French independent who became a "Résident" here six months ago. Like everyone setting up a business in Luxembourg, I had to figure out: which invoicing software for Luxembourg?
I tried the existing tools, they work, I just didn't enjoy using them.
I've been a freelance developer for 3 years, so instead of using a tool I didn't like, I started coding my own tool, and six months later it's become faktur.lu.
I'm posting here because I need feedback from everyone that would take the time to try it.
Features tested:
- 5 languages (FR, DE, EN, LB, PT)
- Public FAIA validator (free, no signup)
- Customisable numbering with placeholders, Article 61 LIVA compliant
- HR module with employee portal
- Accountant portal (read-only access for your fiduciaire,accountant, ...)
- Lightweight CRM
- EU-hosted, GDPR-friendly
Here's what I coded but have not yet stress-tested in the real world and need help with:
- FAIA export confronted to an actual AED tax audit
- Peppol transmission to a real Access Point
- Factur-X / ZUGFeRD with a real French/German client
If anyone here is an entrepreneur, an accountant, or has already pushed Peppol to production, I'd genuinely appreciate a critical look. The tool is free to try.
