Hi,
I've been slowly but surely assembling a garden solar array for my new ecoflow ultra (hampered by bad weather and delays in getting cables delivered).
In the mean time I've covered the battery with some osb and a roofing sheet to keep the rain off and test how the cells perform.
Today was heavy cloud and rain so I wanted to see how much power it produce in heavy cloud (spoiler, not a lot).
Anyway. The reason for my post, I've noticed the battery can go down quite quickly if there is no power coming to the unit from the solar supply.
1% per hour? (it reports 26wh per hour) Is that normal?
I get that there is an inverter in there checking for draw and a wifi/ bluetooth controller transmitting the status but it feels a really high amount for something just sat there? (624wh per day???) I'd need my solar array running in full sun for an hour or more just to make that up surely?
