Hi,

I've been slowly but surely assembling a garden solar array for my new ecoflow ultra (hampered by bad weather and delays in getting cables delivered).

In the mean time I've covered the battery with some osb and a roofing sheet to keep the rain off and test how the cells perform.

Today was heavy cloud and rain so I wanted to see how much power it produce in heavy cloud (spoiler, not a lot).

Anyway. The reason for my post, I've noticed the battery can go down quite quickly if there is no power coming to the unit from the solar supply.

1% per hour? (it reports 26wh per hour) Is that normal?

I get that there is an inverter in there checking for draw and a wifi/ bluetooth controller transmitting the status but it feels a really high amount for something just sat there? (624wh per day???) I'd need my solar array running in full sun for an hour or more just to make that up surely?

I know this gets mentioned a lot, but there was a post on here (since removed) with a long list of techniques to reduce stuttering in DCS World on a Quest 3 in VR. I've tried most of them. But since I've been through a million guides on how best to avoid it, and over the last weeks I've spent hours picking apart my PC settings to find a cause. Nothing really made a difference.

The one setting that seems to have made a difference however was disabling Virtual Desktop Audio driver.

My logic was that the microstutters I had were often accompanied by a 'glitch' in the audio, like a knocked/ skipped CD used to sound.

So I disabled VD's audio driver in Virtual Desktop itself and set my headset to the primary audio device in windows.

In single player I noticed a significant drop off in 'skips', which were occurring every 5 seconds previously, even in single player.

I just wondered if anyone else with the same issue has tried this and if they had any success?

Specs for reference.

AMD Ryzen 5 5800x3d, 64gb DDR4, Radeon RX9070xt 16GB (using FSR4 via optiscaler), windows and VD on an NVME and DCS on an SSD. Quest 3 on WIFI7 Router.

DCS 0.9pd. settings generally at or below 'VR' default in game.
