I’m new to taking this med and when I’ve seen dose questions I get a little confused. So my doc gave me scripts for 0.68mg/ml pens and a 1mg/dose pen (that’s what’s written on the scripts). The pharmacist explained that the 0.25 dose and 0.5 dose use the same pen…I get that so far. He also said the pen holds six 0.25 doses or four 0.5 doses. That math ain’t mathin for me first of all. Shouldn’t it contain eight 0.25 doses if it has four 0.5 doses? Secondly, I’d like to stay on 0.25 for as long as it’s still working for me but my doc only gave me two pens for the 0.25/0.5 doses and then one pen for the 1.0mg doses. My question is…can the 1.0mg pen still be used for 0.25 doses or do I need another script for more of the 0.25/0.5 pens?
