It seems incredibly wasteful to create an entire industry of death just to fulfill cravings we all recognize as negative for our personal health. If we used fake beef for burgers and taco filling, how bad would that be in the scheme of things- the cheese is still real, they haven't figured out fake bacon yet but it seems like ground beef is pretty much already replaced. I am just thinking of ways we could maintain some aspects of our current cultural obsessions while trying to reduce environmental impact of industrial farming (which it seems like cows have one of the biggest impacts on the environment)
