As the title says, Mrs has her heart set on a mini for her first car. While she'd love a classic, or "real" mini, her budget is around 5k so we're stuck with the BMW flavour for now.
While I know my way around classic minis (welding and A series fun) I know next to nowt about the new ones... other than I hear there was one disastrous engine model they came with that must be avoided at all costs.
So I ask the hivemind. What do I look out for, and what do I avoid?
Also given I'll be the one servicing and repairing it, what are the common faults on these things?
Thanks all 😁
