PENTEK 150470 “BIG BLUE” question
I have a serious hard water issue at the house that was mostly resolved by a triple filter system, water softener and PENTEK 150470, BIG BLUE filter. The water is heavy in clay and iron. We “rent” it from a company that installed it when we built our home 3 years ago. I only change the big blue filter about once a year.
My question is. How often should I change that filter? And also why filter do you recommend that will help us with our water pressure. Even with the annual change our water pressure is still pretty bad.
The pressure tank is reading correctly so I know that’s not the issue. Are there varying types of micron filters that would be better in the “big blue”?
