We chatted for a good hour or so of our walk around the glacier this afternoon, even after my incredible impression of a sprinting cartoon character spinning their legs while I slipped and almost fell down a crevasse (mild over-exaggeration)...
You were visiting your friend of a friend on the way through the state down to your summer job in the Kenai peninsula. And were incredibly helpful offering to hold my camera while I filled my bottle with glacial water, referring to yourself (and I quote) as "an excellent pack-mule".
If the pack mule wants to join this bumbling buffoon on another hike in the area that would be wonderfully appreciated; he may even offer to take your picture using the camera you so diligently held, and second times the charm perhaps he might grab a contact!
