Using W11 Desktop on chrome. Under the 'Posts & Comments' settings is 'Media In Comments'. After I make changes by adjusting the toggles, then hit save a red banner pops up saying: "We had some issues saving your changes. Please try again." I have never used that setting before so I do not know how long its been like that but I have been trying it for 48 hours.

In Modtools, under Posts & Comments is a "Media in comments" section. I want them all toggled off. When I do so, then hit save, I get this error: "We had some issues saving your changes. Please try again."
No matter what I do or how long I wait or what I refresh I get that error.
Is it just me?
Still feeling overwhelmed. There are too many similar subreddits for moderators seeking help, where do I go? I am trying to understand the different tools available to moderators. It seems like many are redundant. My last attempt seeking help on this got overrun by trolls and locked!
The items that I am hung up on are:
- Automod,
- Safety Filters,
- Automations,
- Apps and
- the Wiki.
Are these all native reddit features? I understand Apps are created by users and by adding them you are allowing that APP creator Mod access too… is that true?
I know exactly how I want my sub to be ran, I can describe it, but making that a reality with the available options seems to be limited by my understanding of what I can and can't do with what is available and doesn't require a PHD.
It was recommended that I start with Safety Filters, which I did, but my needs regarding what I want for the subreddit have not been met with just the Safety Filters. After reading that Apps for moderation allows the APP creator MOD access... IDK how I feel about that. If there was an alternative to accomplishing the same thing that APPs offer through native features I'd like to know how and understand it better.
TikTok support is useless. I have spent over a week watching AI support bots talk in circles, making multiple requests to post a link to a video I posted several times in the conversation already! Soo frustrating!
I created a TikTok channel to present video game industry news to viewers that wouldn't see this type of news otherwise because its not mainstream major network news. It can also be boring info despite its high value.
The intent is to get this info to gamers/consumers in a compressed format so that it doesn't take up too much of their time yet provide quality reputable information important to a gamer/consumer.
I have experimented with this format on my YouTube variety channel with limited success due to the fact it is a variety channel. I received enough views to motivate me to create a niche TikTok channel just for video game industry news.
My first video only received 90 views! My next video 1 week later received 0 views! And every time one of my friends view it the view count does not go up!
The videos are formatted such that they display headlines from articles of reputable news outlets. My voice reads a scripted summary I created that is displayed in karaoke style captions on top of the articles. I use the articles as b-roll essentially. The video is bordered with an overlay that is AI art but it was edited down from a larger piece. I use my logo with an audio visualizer surrounding it to give the video more movement and action on the screen.
I'd post the link but I dont want you to think I am self-promoting. I can if you want though.
Thanks for your time to anyone that sees this and decides to help.
