I struggle to start cleaning until things feel “too much” — trying to change that

I’ve noticed I tend to ignore small messes until they build up and suddenly feel overwhelming. Then cleaning feels like a big task instead of something quick and easy.

I’m trying to shift that by doing very small actions in the moment (like picking up a few things or wiping one surface), instead of waiting for motivation or a full cleaning session.

It’s not perfect yet, but I can already see how much lighter things feel when I don’t let everything pile up.

How do you stop yourself from reaching that everything is too much point?
