Hello .

I need help on deciding my career path and future next steps , hopefully someone in my shoes can best help and guide me .These are my circumstances , I am a first class law graduate intending on pursing a career at the bar in the UK , i did not go to Russell group so i am alive to my chances and odds . I am an international student .. i have built up great experiences , 3 mini pupillages at great sets , great proof of advocacy (taken part in multiple moot competition's and made finals in one , won a world moot ,great work experience , worked at law clinics part time , going on to my second internship with the MOJ this summer while also commencing an internship with a company as a legal assistant . I want to do the bar course because that is what i am in line with however i am also considering taking on a graduate visa ,because this year is the last year that it has the option to remain in the UK for two years , however if I apply for next year it will only allow me to remain for 18 months . 6 months shorter .I wanted to study the bar course while working part time but it turns out that i can not do that while on a graduate visa , this means to do the bar course , i have to apply now for a student visa , which is a significantly time consuming process and a difficult process compared to the graduate visa . I am dealing with the fact if i pursue the graduate visa route i am most likely pursue the solicitor pathway and go all the way till i get a training contract , then transition after ( while also applying for pupillage ) ,.... i am also considering doing the bar course, to get it out the way(while it is till cheaper ( i also did not get a scholarship with the inns of court ) so I at least I can perform certain roles in a "qualified" capacity boosting my odds . I need some insights and advice , can anyone help me ???
