I’m currently working on a shonen manga based mainly on 90s nostalgia and the arcade culture in the outskirts/low-income neighborhoods of Brazil at the time.

The most common cabinets that could be found in those local arcades were Capcom’s Big Blue, the classic red SNK cabinet, and a bootleg-style one made by a national brand called 'Eletromatic'.

In this piece, I tried to place the protagonist playing his favorite game in a 'late afternoon' atmosphere."
