Two weeks ago, I bought a used 2025 Camry Hybrid with 48k miles (it was a rental car). After driving the car 150+ miles, I started my car this morning and saw that the car showed that the gas taken was full even though it was on 3/4 of a tank that last time I drove. I went to the gas station and put 9 gallons in the tank when it was reading as a full tank BEFORE I got gas. This is the first time I put gas in the car since I bought it. Now, every time I start the car, it says that I have a completely full tank of gas despite driving 200+ miles and not getting gas.

1. What are the odds that the dealership knew about this issue when they sold us the car?
2. Is a broken gas gauge covered under the Toyota certified warranty?
3. Has anyone else experienced this issue in their newish Camry?
