flight anxiety
so for context i’ve flown a round way trip twice in my life. the first time i was 13 and was completely fine (even with terrible turbulence) and then the second when i was 18 and i absolutely lost it. had a terrible panic attack on the way back and felt like my world was ending.
i randomly started developing a fear shortly after my first flight due to having multiple dreams of plane cr@shes, and ever since then have been absolutely terrified.
however recently my boyfriend won us a trip to the bahamas which (obviously) requires us to fly. the total flight time depending on layovers is between 5-7 hours and this is probably a once in a lifetime kind of experience and i would absolutely hate to miss out due to my fear. i guess this post is me asking for some advice/tips or literally anything to help me get over this fear bc it is consuming me🥲🥲
