I have been taking Nutrafol for almost 2 years which contains saw palmetto. I also use combo BC pills combined with withdrawal “pull out” (I know it’s not enough on its own but I always use with my pill which I’m very good at taking on time)

Someone told me today that saw palmetto can make birth control pills less effective. I looked in my pamphlet info that came with my pills and it wasn’t listed as an interaction. I called my pharmacy and they said they weren’t sure and hadn’t heard that.

What is the truth? Now I’m scared I messed up big time
