I really want a new Legacy of Kain game. I don't know what a good game might be but i damn sure know what I like. The perfect outcome would be to have all the Legends on board again and a studio that would be willing to create a project for the fans and not the suits.

So anyway, here's my stupid little idea.

PROJECT PITCH: Legacy of Kain: Wheel of Fate

Marketing:

“The Prophecy of the Loop”

Tweet: Raziel’s glowing eyes in the darkness, slowly transitioning into the luminous patterns of his clan logo.

Text: “The wheel of fate turns again.”

Next Tweet: A silhouette of the Soul Reaver with a countdown timer. Once expired, a glyph appears. Clicking the glyph redirects to the teaser.

The Teaser: Black screen. Silence. Ariel’s voice: “Kain refused the sacrifice.” BOOM: A remix of the orchestral Blood Omen theme and the industrial beats of Ozar Midrashim hits as the cover artwork is revealed.

Release Window: A tight 4-week lead time. Launching exactly on the anniversary of the original Blood Omen (November 1st).The Message: “Everything repeats.”

No bloated campaign, just cryptic lore fragments (clan logos, timers) to trigger the fans' hunger.

The Story: Symbiosis in Decay.

The narrative picks up after Defiance. Kain and Raziel are now spiritually united, as Raziel dwells within the Soul Reaver. They attempt to heal the corrupted Nosgoth, but quickly realize that every action,no matter how noble, only reinforces the history already written.

Central Conflict: Kain and Raziel fight against predestination itself, only to discover they are their own executioners.

The Climax: In the alleys of Coorhagen, they encounter the young, human nobleman Kain. The player is given a choice: intervene or observe. The outcome is always the death of young Kain, which is the very catalyst for his rise as a vampire.

The Twist: Kain can choose to let the bandits proceed or kill them himself. If he kills the bandits, the young Kain attacks the "monster" and is easily defeated, pierced by his own sword.

Kain fails to recognize his younger self and mocks him even as he delivers the fatal blow.

Gameplay: The “Jekyll & Hyde” Mechanic.

Forget Open World. We utilize the classic Zelda approach (Ocarina of Time/Twilight Princess) with tightly designed dungeons and Metroidvania elements.

Duo-Gameplay: Kain and Raziel share a "host." Initially, switching is only possible at Pillars of Power (where the veil is thin), but later it can be done at will.

Kain (Material Realm): Brutal physicality, telekinesis, blood magic. He solves mechanical puzzles and dominates in combat.

Raziel (Spectral Realm): Gliding, phase shifting, metaphysical puzzles. He perceives paths hidden from Kain’s sight.

Emergent Gameplay: Puzzles do not have a "single" solution. Do you use Kain’s strength or Raziel’s insight? Players have the freedom to creatively combine the tools of both souls.

Character Dynamics: D and LeftyConstant Dialogue: Raziel serves as a sarcastic observer from within the blade (similar to the Watcher in Darksiders or Lefty in Vampire Hunter D).

Philosophical Dispute: As you play, the two argue over their actions. Kain remains the arrogant God-King, Raziel the tragic martyr.

Their chemistry drives the plot without interrupting the action. The Finale: Moebius’ Bitter Resolution. The game doesn’t end with a victory over a monster, but with a revelation.

The Hall of Mirrors: Moebius appears at the end, showing them their own countless deaths and rebirths in infinite reflections.

He explains the "Wheel of Fate": There is no free will.

The Eternal Circle: The game ends with the two being hurled through time once more, directly into the opening scenes of the original games. The wheel turns on. Vae Victis.
