Found a decent deal on him on Buyee and thankfully was able to pull the trigger!

Also shown is the next version for comparison. Personally I think the new one is a bit too bright and opaque compared to the original being most fully clear. My theory is that it’s due to any finish/varnish they put on the figure so the painted gold bits don’t chip, but I’m honestly not sure
