Graduate with my bachelors in 2 weeks, I got sec+ earlier this year and am now studying for net+ and a+. 350 applications, 12 interviews, 2 2-round interviews, but nothing so far. No internships during my time in college, but I have had a “data analyst” part time role for a small business with only a couple of employees. Is it really a numbers game? I’ve been applying to help desk, soc analyst, and various cs internship roles, as I’m striving to get into cybersecurity someday. Keep grinding with the apps and get some interesting personal projects under my belt? I only have ones from school listed on the resume. I’m just tired of hearing my mech e friends talk about sending out 20 apps and landing a full time.
