Found this in the new condo I recently moved into when I was replacing a bedroom fan. This unit was built during the 70’s.

I’m a new apprentice and I was replacing my fan. I inspected the wire and everything seems to be good with it besides the discoloration on the neutral. I took the box down and will be adding connectors in.
