Is it okay to send in an updated employment verification form?
I have 120 verified months of employment as of January 2026 and 109 payments. I applied for buyback reconsideration after my January payment posted. Then in February I applied for general forbearance while awaiting the buyback to process. I plan on leaving my public service job soon and I want to finalize the extra months of employment in public service. Will this do something to null or cancel the review reconsideration request? I’ve heard all sorts of weird things about this process and just don’t want to do anything that will jeopardize my buyback request.
