I have a question regarding Express Entry for Canada.

Is it mandatory that the one year of foreign work experience must be in the same field as your studies?

For example, someone who is a doctor or an engineer but he worked in a completely different job . However, the job duties match a specific NOC code, such as Administrative Assistant or another skilled occupation.

In this case, would this work experience still count for Express Entry as long as the duties match the NOC, even if it has nothing to do with my field of study?

Or does the work experience have to be in the same field as my education?
