Hello,
I am looking for lawyer recommendations as a Federal Employee located in Kansas. I have gone through the RA process, which has led to an EEOC official complaint. I believe I am now waiting for the Right to Sue Letter.
I’ve tried asking Kansas Legal Services for a referral for Federal EEOC cases, but it seems they have no one that specializes in them?
Thank you in advance. Happy to answer any questions that help narrow it down.
EDIT*
I went through the reasonable accommodation process and was offered unhelpful things. I then initiated an EEOC complaint, went through mediation, and have since provided an affidavit/testimony for my complaint.
On a side note, I had an office of investigation complaint against a coworker stalking/harassing by saying I was AWOL to our head supervisor. I was not, and was easily able to prove this. The person under investigation is known as a trouble maker who has the head supervisor’s ear.
Despite numerous people testifying on my behalf, it was adjudicated as a non-issue by the person I filed the EEOC complaint against, which feels an awful lot like a conflict of interest.
