is there any walkable cities in maryland?
22nb. might be a dumb question, ill do my own research too. i pay $400 car insurance, $300 car loan, work a delivery job costing $300 in gas a month (prices are only getting higher!), tolls, etc., now my car needs service and thats even more money. im sick of driving, im sick of paying for a car i dont really want. id rather ride buses or trains or just walk. i want to live on my own, save up money for once, and maybe just somewhat start a new life with a new job. i live in middle river which is not walkable at all, everything is centered around cars. i dont want to move out of state. i work full time pizza delivery and spend half, if not more, of my average day driving. im about to graduate college, which is my ticket to make a huge change now that i dont have to drive to school. is baltimore good for public transportation? maybe somewhere farther? new york city sounds great but is way too far from family. just curious what peoples thoughts are, thank you.
