20mm uPVC electrical conduit - to glue, or not to glue?

I'm about to install a lot of 20mm PVC conduit runs in my garage for upcoming electrical work, but I can't find definitive information on whether I need to be solvent welding all the connections, or not.

I came across some coupling fixings that allow for the pipe to expand and contract - suggesting that welding isn't expected - but I've also seen a few videos of people solvent welding the pipe into the female connectors for junction boxes.

Should I be solvent welding the conduit runs or not?

Companion app high battery drain recently.

I'm using the F-Droid companion app (not the full-fat Google Play Store one) and have notice the battery drain has become excessive in the past week or so.

I've had a poke about the settings and carried out various troubleshooting, but I'm not sure what's changed or what else I can check.

Has there been any huge changes I've missed recently? It used to sip power, but now I'm having to charge my phone throughout the day if I don't want it running flat.

I'm happy waiting and not expecting Amazon Prime levels of turnaround here. I'm just taking a temperature of what the current timescales are.

My P2D order had "stalled" for a month until I reached out to support and they got it shipped. They said it was the right thing to do, but I still felt cheeky doing it.

For those of you who have received your PT2 - when did you see it hit the shipping stage after you'd confirmed your address and paid the taxes/duty etc.?
