Torn between staying in UAE or just go home
I'm a single mom, currently living here at UAE. I'm working in the hospitality sector and due to the war, the company had to remove my live out allowance. I was given a chance to work from home but they eventually cancelled that and asked me to come to work. With that said, my transpo alone costs 1,500 aed per month since i live from another emirate. With the ongoing situation, I don't think that I'm getting my live out allowance back anytime soon. I'm living with my parents and my sister. My parents are old and they only came here to help me take care of my child.
I've been thinking of just going home since at least there, we have our own house and we only have to pay for the water and electricity bills and groceries. Plus, my son can be surrounded by other kids like my other sister's kids. I'm just wondering which option is better and more practical. My son just turned 1 year old so I don't have much expenses for him yet.
I am looking at different means to earn. I am hoping to find a work from home set up so i can personally look after my child.
