Medium to Long term player, must confess to being a little stuck in using blueprints and all my bases sort of look the same. Just stopped my recent SA game as I started to copy/paste all the L work and the space gamblers. Decided to try something new, Nullius, and use no internet to help. Its a fantastic mess, I am not even trying to keep it tidy. Bit of a liquids/gas area, bit of an industrial, bit of power (just think I got rid of the brownouts!), and one big mess of a mall. I guarantee you will find no best practice, or anyone else's work in any of the screenshots!
Its really fantastic, this post is my strong recommendation if you are also stuck in blueprints. Maybe a 3rd of the way through the tech tree, I can smell it getting messy already and I am prepared.
