so i was originally supposed to be on loa from 3/17 through 6/1. yesterday i received my decision notice and it was approved from 3/17 - 5/13. my provider only approved through the 13th but i don't feel ready to go back. i don't think he will fill out the paperwork to extend so i am unsure what to do. i also have not been in contact with hr at all, so i'm a little lost as to what i should do. any advice on getting an extension and when to get in touch with hr? i though it was supposed to be 2 weeks before you're set to return but that's less than a week away if i can't get an extension. also jsut as general question about how long after returning from loa are you back on the schedule, esp since the schedules are now made 3 weeks in advance as opposed to 2? thank you!
