The new tavern is the current fastest way to get intimacy points, you only need to run it 3-4 times a week to max your points. Lots of Jade Fish also too.

Rexlent has a really good guide for how to do the tavern minigame as quickly as possible with a high chance of success. I've done this 7 times already with 80% success taking <2min each run, faster if everyone votes immediately.
