I am totally new to reactive dyes and I am planning on dyeing some clothing. I was going to place an order on Dharma's website but when I add the bottle of detergent the shipping cost goes way up, and I don't want to pay that much just for the shipping cost. The only other option is to buy synthrapol but it's also pretty expensive to ship to me. Do I have to use synthrapol or the dharma detergent to get the best dye results? Is there any other kind of detergent that I could use that wouldn't affect the dye?
