Hello everyone, (first time posting here)
I’m a university student running a small online jewelry brand called Jemera. I’ve been taking it seriously for a bit now, not just a casual side project.
I’ve got:
- A Shopify store up and running
- Small yet decent product lineup (rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings)
- Supplier locked in and operations/logistics figured out
Where I’m struggling is turning this into actual consistent sales and growth.
Right now it feels like I’m in that awkward middle stage where the site looks decent, but nothing crazy or mind blowing. Products are solid, but not too big of a catalog about 6-8 in each category of rings earrings necklaces and bracelets. Traffic is low and inconsistent. No real winning marketing channel yet asides from Meta Ads Instagram and Facebook.
I don’t want generic advice like “run ads” or “post on TikTok.” I’m trying to understand what actually moves the needle. I’m tired of “shopify gurus” all repeating the same scripts. Would be really nice to get insight from someone who’s doing something similar.
If you’ve built or scaled a jewelry or e-commerce brand:
- What was the turning point for you?
- What did you stop doing that was wasting time?
- What mattered more than you initially thought?
- How did you go from random sales to consistent revenue?
Be brutally honest. More than willing to answer any dms.
Appreciate any real insight.
