Help Me repair drain pipe
Help. I've redone this 2 times it leaks from the bottom of the coupling both times. I think I'm not doing the glue right? Please give me a step-by-step step how you would fix this given there is very little pipe left above the ground to cut. Do I try to remove the coupling with pipe wrenches since the seal is no good? Maybe that spares some length of the pipe?
Origin story: i found a leak in wall of late fathers bedroom claet which has been sealed for almost 3 years. Seems roto rooter never closed this pipe which drains from my kitchen sink and dishwasher its just been gushing out into my walls. I have since opened the walls and gotten to killing mold and all that. But my repairs on this pipe arent doing great. I used to work with pvc in high school but its been a while. I'm following all steps. Cleaning, sanding, primer, glue, twist and hold. Maybe I'm just going to slow?
